“ No longer allowing dine in. Primarily catering, will do to go orders. They prefer orders with 24 hour notice. Menu is available online. Despite this, they were courteous and kind and cooked my to go lunch quickly. The samosas were some of the best I've had. They don't skimp on spice. Large vegetarian selection, I had eggplant (baigan) bharta. Rice was very good, good quality, fresh, and not dry. If the amazing food and good service aren't enough, the restaurant exists to support charity work. They feed many people in need, including children, the elderly, and veterans. If you have never had Indian food before this place is a good ambassador. Please give them a try. ”

“ We were in Tahoe and it came to my attention recently that a lady open a fine dining Indian restaurant in Carson city name flavors of India. We decided to have a late lunch before we had home. Huge parking, over 6000 sq ft total space and future party hall will be added. Owner spent good money on interior. I like the paintings. Bar is going to be added soon. I like the patio dining. Overall good food and great service. Will visit again. ”

“ First time here. The food was delicious. Just the right amount of spice. They asked how spicy you want, I asked for Medium spicy and it was perfect. Best Naan I've had in awhile. Me and my daughter shared the garlic Naan while my son had the firey one. Both were delicious. The waiter was great as well. Someone was always coming by to fill your water. Nice atmosphere as well. The fish pakora had a thin crispy batter with the fish cooked just right and still moist and flaky. The best lamb biryani I have ever tasted. The samosa with mint chutney was a welcoming note. I had my biryani with Eggplant Bhartha, and it was phenominal. The meat was so soft and moist and had no gamey aftertaste. The service was top notch. You will not be disappointed. Although, reserve your table first for the best experience. We just walked in, but the food was prepared as if they were preparing our fiest the whole morning. ”

If and when you stop in here ask her about the health benefits of the food she makes and why she puts this or that in there..... it's highly educational, delicious and the whole experience is utterly amazing! They don't have enough stars to explain the impact this lady has on thr community..... and unlike many other resturuants who claim you're family she proves it. ”
